Dr. Joanne Kenner-Allensworth currently serves on the Board of Directors.  Dr. Allensworth practiced medicine for over 50 years in Mineral Wells, Texas alongside her husband, Dr. John Allensworth as an OB/GYN. 

Joanne and her husband always valued the importance of providing healthcare to rural  Texas over their years of practicing.  This legacy continues with their endowment at Texas Tech University's Health Sciences Center. 

This endowment ensures that future Texas Tech and Health Sciences Center students can gain the sense of tradition and service that surrounded
their family.

Their passion has also continued through her sponsoring of the summer camps for area high school students that are held annually in Stephenville and Mineral Wells, Texas.  These funds along with funds from the Hodges Family Foundation our key to these programs continued success.  

The goal of these programs are to expose students to health careers in hopes that others will follow in the footsteps of
Drs. John and Joanne Allensworth.
